Illegal Hotel Business in Lonavala

Lonavala being a hill station and easily accessible through Cars, buses and Trains, there are lots of tourists that visit every year. Chikki and Hotel business are in full flow. Looking at this factor there are many Illegal hotels stating up, creating problems to the local resident and the tourists that visit.
 
Hotel Dean Villa is one of them. Earlier stated as Dean Villa( rest house ) then converting to Oyo Dean Villa.


   1.First and the most important thing is where it is built. It is Built on a active Sewage system, through which water and sewage is flowing for that area 24 X 7. Construction is Declared as Illegal by Lonavala Municipal Council. survey report is as follows in the image bellow

   2. It is Build in a Residential zone called as Badrivishal Co.op. Hsg. Society.
       Badrivishal Co.op Hsg. Society. Is a residential Society with more that 80 Family living.
       REGD.NO. - PNA / MWL / HSG / (TO) / 1466/ 2013-2014
       SURVEY NO. 220/2 & 221, TUNGARLI, LONAVALA - 410403.       
People of the society are facing lots of problems due to activation of hotel at this place.
A.lots of  unknown people have started entering this premises so there is lots of noise and safety of         people of the society is at stake.
B.Silence of this  residential area is completely gone. 
C.Lots of Dust and Dirt can be seen on the road created by the hotel visitors.

3. Situated in Badrivishal CO.op. Hsg. Society. the plot owner is still not he member of the society,        nor he has shown the papers of the property. or his license to run the Hotel.

4. Calling it a HOTEL was not accepted by the owner. He calls it a guest house. and says he does not      need any license for that. But the OYO website calls it as HOTEL DEAN VILLA.




5. As it is constructed over a Sewage line there is water logging in society during rainy season.

6. It being a Hotel, there are lots of cars parked in society due to which residents are facing problems even while driving there own car.

7. The Owner of the hotel is a Very arrogant man. and has some good political connections due to which no action is taken over him. or his actions.

8. House owners have even lodged a FIR against him. But his political connections have stopped people from taking actions against him.

9. Society has even given a written complain about all this but nothing is happening. Society letter in the image bellow.


10. To stop all this kind of actions against the Hotel, the plot owner is harassing the residents using            his money. power and position. Even his GOONS have gone to House owners and harassed them.

11. There are many different websites through which booking of this Hotels is done. In each website it is written HOTEL Dean Villa.

12. As per our sources he does not have License for Permit rooms.

13. Can someone tell how it is allowed to run a Commercial Hotel In Residential Zone. All the websites stated above refer it as Hotel Dean Villa and in address its71,72 Badrivishal Society, Tunagrli,Lonavala.

Who is to be held responsible for all this. The plot owner who has constructed such massive illegal building or The Hotel Owner who is harassing the residents or The residents who are not able to do anything about this or the Higher Authorities who are not willing to take any legal actions.
Whose ever fault it may be but the residents are the one who suffer. 

Only request from TEAM AAPNI AAWAZ is to bring froward problems faced buy the residents and showing the readers how MONEY, POWER and CONTACTS can help you do such Illegal activity.
Shame one such people who do such thing and start bringing bad impression to a Beautyful Hill Station like Lonavala. Equally shameless are those people whose pockets are filled with money for keeping their mouth shut and not taking action.

We are with the residents of Badrivishal Society. and our fight will go on until this HOTEL DEAN VILLA is completely SHUT-DOWN.It might take some time but truth always wins.

खड्ड्यांने मारली सेन्चुरी ( 100 Days )
